Last year, Barunastra ITS participate in the annual Kontes Kapal Cepat Tak Berawak Nasional (KKCTBN) 2021. From October 21st-24th 2021, the contest was held in Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

We brought 2 of our boat, our first Autonomous Semi Surface Vehicle (ASSV) Nala Orca and Arlong 001 (FERC). It is our first year deploying ASSV boat and unfortunately during final race, some technical problem occurs and our boat can’t continue its voyage. But, our FERC, Arlong 001 succeed in finishing on the 3rd place. Lots of things were learned from this year. Hope we can do better next year!
